00.0%The year is 2019, and the Japanese government has recently increased their involvement in censorship of the mass media. The upcoming Tokyo Olympics accelerates their efforts. Depictions deemed obscene by the Japanese government become increasingly difficult to publish, even in manga.
Under these circumstances, manga author Hibino Mikio just got an opportunity to publish his horror manga: "Dark Walker." His manga centers around a disease that turns normal people into cannibals during the night. Watch as Mikio finds himself in a manga industry shaken by a war on the freedom of expression.

Yuugai Toshi was initially serialized in Jump X magazine until the discontinuance of it with the November 2014 issue. Serialization restarted on February 25, 2015 in a web magazine, Tonari no Young Jump. Additionally, a prologue one-shot chapter, detailing the events of what happened 5 years before the main story, was published in the 52nd 2014 issue of Young Jump magazine.
The series has been published in French by Ki-oon on March 12 and December 10, 2015, respectively and in German by Carlsen on December 20, 2016 and March 28, 2017, respectively. Japanese volume 1 was published a month after the French release on April 17.
